The SWOKSAR mission is to provide trained dogs, handlers, support personnel, and overhead personnel to the appropriate requesting agencies or immediate family for the purpose of searching or lost, missing or incapacitated subjects at little or no cost.

 

Our goal is to provide Search and Rescue training and equipment for all volunteer handlers, support personnel and canines through membership dues, fund raising efforts, and local donations.  Our goal is to provide rescue services at all times of day or night and under all weather conditions.  SWOKSAR efforts will include areas including, but not limited to, wilderness, still and swift water, natural disasters, and imposed disasters.
